This Privacy Policy applies to the dayweather mobile application, website, and related services that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is provided by Frontclick (“dayweather,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that may be linked from the Service. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use dayweather, the permissions you grant, your device settings, and which features are available in your version of the Service.
Information you provide
You may provide information when you contact support, submit feedback, make a privacy request, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include your name, email address, message content, and any information you choose to include.
Location information
If you grant permission, dayweather may access your device’s approximate or precise location to provide local weather conditions, forecasts, alerts, and related features. We may send a location, geographic coordinates, city name, or location identifier to a weather-data provider to return the forecast you request. Unless the production Service specifically says otherwise, you should not assume that location information is stored only on your device.
Device, usage, and log information
We and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information, such as device type and model, operating system and app version, language and time zone, IP address, general region inferred from IP address, network type, identifiers used for app operations or diagnostics, feature interactions, request timestamps, referring pages, and error or server logs.
Weather requests and preferences
We may process the locations you search for or save, measurement units, notification preferences, favorite locations, display settings, and other app preferences. Some of this information may be stored locally on your device.
3. Third-Party Weather and API Services
dayweather relies on third-party weather, geocoding, mapping, alert, content-delivery, hosting, or similar API providers to deliver the Service. When you request a forecast or related feature, these providers may receive information necessary to fulfill the request, such as location coordinates, a city or place name, IP address, request time, and technical request data.
Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies or as our service providers under contract. Before publication, this section should identify or link to the actual providers used by the production app where required by law or platform rules.
4. Analytics and Crash Data
If enabled in your version of dayweather, we may use analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand feature usage, diagnose failures, measure performance, and improve reliability. These tools may collect app events, session and device information, crash traces, diagnostic identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and technical details about the state of the app when an error occurred.
Where required, we will request consent before activating non-essential analytics. Available opt-out controls may appear in the app, your device settings, or the provider’s settings. Before publication, name the actual analytics and crash-reporting providers used, or remove this paragraph if none are used.
5. Advertising
dayweather may be offered in versions with or without advertising. If advertising is enabled, advertising partners may collect or receive device and usage information—such as advertising identifiers, IP address, general location, ad interactions, and app activity—to deliver, measure, limit, or personalize ads, subject to applicable law and your consent choices.
If the production app does not contain ads or share information for cross-context behavioral advertising, replace this section with a clear statement confirming that fact. If ads are used, identify the applicable partners and explain how users can manage consent, advertising identifiers, or personalized advertising.
6. Cookies and Local Storage
The mobile app may use device storage, software development kits, cached files, or similar technologies to remember preferences, save locations, maintain settings, support security, and improve performance. If you use a dayweather website, that website may also use cookies or comparable browser storage for essential operation, preferences, analytics, or advertising, as applicable.
You may be able to clear local app data through your device settings and manage browser cookies through your browser. Disabling storage may cause some features to function incorrectly. Where required, we will obtain consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies.

- provide current conditions, forecasts, weather alerts, and location-based features;
- save and synchronize settings or favorite locations, where those features are available;

Information stored only on your device may remain until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall dayweather. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups, where it will be isolated and deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should keep your device and operating system updated and use available device security features.

dayweather is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in a particular jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age without authorization required by law. If the production app sells or shares personal information as defined by applicable law, add a working “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” method and honor applicable preference signals.

Where these laws apply, Frontclick is the controller of personal information described in this Policy unless stated otherwise. Depending on the processing, our legal bases may include performing a contract or providing a requested service, our legitimate interests in operating and securing dayweather, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, and your consent. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, including an unconditional right to object to direct marketing.
